But what do we know about the ways of drinking coffee in Spain? I bet not much! Spaniards have their own coffee drinking traditions, which are slightly different from those we know from the Apennine Peninsula.<\/strong><\/big><\/p>\n<p>How do you drink coffee in Spain? Coffees such as <strong>Caf\u00e9 con Hielo, Cortado or Caf\u00e9 Bombon<\/strong> are certainly less common than Caffe Latte or Flat White. Spaniards drink coffee in an urban mode \u2013 they usually drink Cortado on the way to work. It will successfully replace a piece of cake or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coffeedesk.com\/gifts\/chocolate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chocolate<\/a> when you feel like something sweet. It\u2019s a great solution for warmer days (which are obviously aplenty in Spain, contrary to Poland).<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"to-prepare-cafe-con-hielo-you-need\">To prepare Cafe con Hielo you need:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Espresso doppio<\/strong> or <strong>coffee from a <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coffeedesk.com\/accessories\/moka-pots\/\"><strong>moka pot<\/strong><\/a><strong> (cooled down!)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Ice cubes (enough to fill the glass)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.coffeedesk.com\/bio-and-drinks\/plant-based-drinks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Plant-based<\/strong><\/a> drink or milk<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0A straw, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coffeedesk.com\/product\/8385\/Sol-Straw-Kit-3-Reusable-Straws--Cleaning-Brush--Bag\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">preferably made of metal<\/a> or paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour the cooled down coffee into a glass filled to the brim with ice, then add a plant-based drink or milk.
